Policy
Copyright and content policy.
Print what's yours. Here is what you can upload, what we won't print, and how to tell us about a problem.
Last updated October 30, 2026.
Only upload what you have the rights to
When you upload art, whether on our website, through the API or through your AI, you confirm that you own it or have permission to print it. That covers pictures, text, logos, characters and anyone's name or likeness. Our terms say more.
We may refuse any order
We check what we print. We can refuse or cancel any order, at any time, for any reason, including if we think it breaks this policy. If we cancel before printing, you get a full refund.
What we won't print
- Art that copies someone else's work without permission, including other brands' logos, sports teams, bands, movies, shows and characters
- Trademarks you don't own or license
- A real person's name, face or likeness without their permission
- Hate, harassment or threats against people or groups
- Sexual content involving minors, of any kind
- Anything illegal, or that promotes violence or illegal acts
Report a copyright problem
If you believe something printed or shown through Toolbox POD infringes your copyright, email a written notice to our support address below. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512), your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or someone authorized to act for the owner.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- A description of the material you believe infringes, with enough detail for us to find it, such as an order number, product link or screenshot.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
When we get a valid notice, we remove or disable the material, stop printing it, and let the person who uploaded it know.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the US, any district where Toolbox Brands LLC can be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
We send a copy of your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive your counter-notice.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others' rights, in appropriate circumstances. We may also refuse future orders from them.
