Picture tips
Pictures that print great.
You do not need to be a designer. Four things make the biggest difference.
- PNGSave it as a PNGThat is the file type we print from. Most phones and apps can save or export one.
- 3600 × 4800Bigger is sharperThat many pixels fills the whole print area sharply. Half that, 1800 × 2400, is the smallest that works at full size.
- See-throughClear backgroundWith a transparent background only your picture prints. Otherwise the whole rectangle prints, background and all.
- 50 MBSize limitFiles up to 50 MB and 60 megapixels. Most pictures are far smaller.
The print area is about 12 by 16 inches on the front and on the back. The preview on this page is a guide.
Do I need a store?
No. You can order a single shirt for yourself or as a gift. No store, no subscription and no minimum.
How much is shipping?
$5.95 per order to one address, whether it is one shirt or twenty. Ten classic tees in S to XL come to $91.85 with shipping.
When will it ship?
Ships within 2 business days: your order is handed to the carrier within 2 business days of payment, and usually arrives 5–8 business days after it ships. We ship to all 50 US states, DC and PO boxes.
What if my picture is not good enough?
We check every file automatically before anything prints. Pictures that are too small to print well get flagged, so you can swap in a better one. The tips above help too.
Can I print on the back?
Yes. The front is included in the price, and printing the back too adds $5.00 per shirt. Use the same picture or a different one.
